one day,
silence will be seen
as medicine.
Kind of takes my breath away.
You?
Read it again.
Silence as medicine.
Right?
Makes me pause.
Which makes composing a blog a little tricky.
Why fill up a page with words, noise really, even in praise of silence?
The trouble (and the irony) is that there is so much written about silence. So many good words, good thoughts. And we want to share so many of them with you.
Because maybe silence is the medicine we need right now.
So here, here’s one more thought about silence:
“Within each of us there is a silence, a silence as vast as the universe. And when we experience that silence, we remember who we are.”
That’s poet Gunilla Norris.
Oh, the poem at the top?
