Hope

We may be living through times of unprecedented change, but in uncertainty lies the power to influence the future. Now is not the time to despair, but to act.

~Rebecca Solnit

It seems like precisely the moment to be thinking about hope. While we never truly know what tomorrow holds, right now the future seems especially precarious.

At such an uncertain chaotic time, holding on to hope for ourselves, each other and the planet, is challenging, and essential.

We’re not talking about the kind of hope that denies reality or clings blindly to a belief that everything will be alright. But rather hope that springs from believing in possibility, that things can and will change, if we act.

We invite you to join us on Sunday, November 17, 10:30 – 11:45 am ES, for Hope, a gentle and peaceful online retreat. We’ll explore where hope lives in us and how we might nourish it, even when it feels hard.

We’ll offer inspiration and time for quiet contemplation and reflection. Simple, gentle guidelines will support a calm and protected space to listen to one another and our own deep wisdom.

We’ll leave you with a quote from Flannery O’Connor

“You have to cherish the world at the same time that you struggle to endure it.” ~Flannery O’Connor
